In the 2025 IPL season, Preity Zinta's team Punjab Kings (PBKS) won by a comfortable margin against Shah Rukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). They celebrated a 16-run win after restricting Kolkata to a mere 95 runs while defending a low total of 112.

Yuzvendra Chahal was also instrumental by claiming 4 vital wickets which definitively changed the outcome for Punjab.

She also surrendered her personal space to numerous fans who requested to take pictures with her, as she was high fiving a lot of other approaching people looking with her hands shaking due to adrenaline.

Preity Zinta's Current Projects

Preity was last sighted in the movie Bhaiaji Superhit back in 2018 which was off target with success. She is now gearing up for her return in Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and Aamir Khan. Other cast members include ali fazal, Karan Deol, Sunny Deol and Shabana Azmi.
