Dragon Tamil movie: Pradeep Ranganathan is a hot topic of discussion owing to his new film Dragon which released on 21st February and went on to become a blockbuster. It was reported that the movie has been well received as the critics commended the acting and the direction .Here is all you need to know about the sensational star.
Who is Dragon star Pradeep Ranganathan?
The young actor from Chennai, Pradeep Ranganathan, starred in the comedy drama Dragon and is now loved by the audiences. Born in 1993, he completed his high school and enrolled in the SSN College of Engineering. During his college years, he became passionate about movies and created a short film named Whatsapp Kadhal.
His first feature film was Comali alongside actors Ravi Mohan and Kajal Aggarwal. Right before release of the film, it was surrounded by controversy because the trailer had a scene in it from 1996 where Rajinikanth claimed he would go into politics. Supporters of ‘Thalaivar’ said they’d boycott the movie. The scene was cut and in the end, Comali did become a blockbuster.
Love Today (2022) was Pradeep’s second directorial work, but for him, it was nothing short of a revolution. He not only starred in the film, but also plays his first leading role. It was about contemporary relationships, and was a massive success.
Pradeep subsequently directed its Hindi version Loveyapa. The romantic comedy starring Junaid Khan was not a great success commercially though. Pradeep will appear in Vignesh Shivan’s new movie Love Insurance Kompany.
