In the murder case of MLA Baba Siddiqui, Punjab Police and Mumbai Police have arrested an accused from Ludhiana. The name of the accused is Sujit Kumar. Let us tell you that accused Sujit Kumar has been arrested in a joint operation conducted by Punjab Police and Mumbai Police. Accused Sujit Kumar has been arrested by the police from Bhamia Kalan area. Let us tell you that after the murder of Baba Siddiqui, the accused Sujit was hiding in his in-laws’ house. Let us tell you that till now a total of 15 people have been arrested in this case. Earlier, 14 people were arrested in this murder case.
One more accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case arrested
According to Crime Branch officials, Sujeet had played the role of a middleman to supply weapons to mastermind Zeeshan Akhtar and the shooters. The Crime Branch team is currently bringing Sujeet back to Mumbai from Ludhiana. Mumbai Crime Branch officials revealed that Sujeet had fled to his in-laws’ house in Ludhiana a month before the murder. He originally hails from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. For the last few years, he has been living and working in the Chhedanagar area of Ghatkopar in Mumbai. After the conspiracy to murder Baba Siddiqui, he fled to Ludhiana and hid there.
So far 15 accused have been arrested.
According to the information, he had a direct connection with mastermind Zeeshan Akhtar. Once in Ludhiana, Sujit introduced Akhtar to accused Nitin and Ram, who helped in procuring weapons for the murder of Baba Siddiqui. Let us tell you that a few days ago, MLA Baba Siddiqui was murdered in public. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for this murder. Since this murder, the killers of Baba Siddiqui have been searched continuously. A total of 15 people have been arrested in this case so far. Sujit is the 15th accused to be arrested.
