Suspense crime, Digital Desk : This high-level meeting, expected to run for 3–4 hours, is a key event ahead of the one-year anniversary of the NDA government’s third term on June 9. It will bring together all Cabinet ministers, Ministers of State, and those with independent charge.

Senior officials, including the Cabinet Secretary, secretaries from various departments, and key members of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), are also expected to attend.

The meeting’s purpose is to chart out policy directions for the remaining term of the administration. Prime Minister Modi will likely present core focus areas for governance and development, indicating which sectors will be prioritized going forward.

Coalition partners from allied parties such as Janata Dal (United), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Telugu Desam Party, Shiv Sena, Apna Dal (Soneylal), Janata Dal (Secular), Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), and the Republican Party of India will also participate in this meeting.

A significant part of the agenda includes presentations on India’s diplomatic and military response to Pakistan after Operation Sindoor, conducted in reaction to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians.

Additionally, the Jal Shakti Ministry will provide updates on the Jal Jeevan Mission, a crucial rural water supply initiative.

This comes on the heels of another important meeting on May 20, where PM Modi led a discussion on reviving the tourism sector. The government is now taking steps to boost tourist confidence and restore travel activity in Jammu and Kashmir following the April 22 incident.
