Bank Holidays May 2025: There are just a few days left for the month of May to begin. With every new month comes a new set of holidays para-diary some of which include bank holidays, and as expected the Reserve Bank of India has also released the May Holidays List.
There will be a total of 12 bank holidays in May, as per the announcement. Nevertheless, these do include weekly ( Saturday-Sunday) offs, and these are specific for each state.

May 10, 2025 – Second Saturday

May 18, 2025 – Sunday

May 24, 2025 – Fourth Saturday

Holidays are changed according to the states

For your information, the list of holidays for banks is not the same in all states. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) states that the list of holidays is different for all the states.
