Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has verified that some violent and provocative videos posted on social media and circulated by certain Pakistani news channels were part of a larger campaign constructed with the sole intention of misleading the Indian public. Between Thursday night and Friday morning, PIB’s curated Fact Check unit tracked and dispelled seven viral videos that aimed at pandemonium and mass hysteria.  
        
1. Drone Attack Video From Jalandar Misleading

An aggressive drone attack on Jalandhar was widely advertised in a video that is genuinely jaw dropping in its fabrication.

PIB confirmed it was indeed footage of a farm fire posted hours before the supposed drone attack.

The same has been verified by Jalandhar's Deputy Commissioner.  

2. Misleading Video of Pakistani Forces Destroying Indian Post

Video incorrectly proposed that pakistani forces have obliterated an indian military post.
        
This has been debunked by PIB which highlighted the mention of a so-called ‘20 Raj Battalion’ which does not exist.  

Such claims have been screened as strategic narrative as systemic deception.  

3. Hoax on Missile Strike used Footage of Beirut Blast

2020’s exploding Beirut was falsely tried to sell as a Pakistani missile strike launching on India footage.  

PIB assertively denied that the video has any relation to recent developments between India and Pakistan.

4. Fake Report of Suicide Attack in Rajouri  

Such allegations upon the Rajouri based army brigade circulated on social media claiming it to be a kamikaze attack.

PIB published that such an incidence never occurred as it sought to misinform the citizens.

5. Forged Army Letter from Fake General
An untrue letter purporting to come from the Army Chief General VK Narayan was in circulation.

PIB explained that VK Narayan is not the Chief of Army Staff and that letter has no truth.

6. Unfounded Allegation of Amristriar Attack on Military Strike From Ambala
A social allegations stated that the Indian military conducted an attack on Amritsar from an airport in Ambala.

PIB dismissed the allegations with an official statement from the Ministry of Defence.

7. Misleading the Public Announcement of Fake Entry Airport News Restriction
This falsehood said that airport entry was limited for all and has spread across the internet.

There is no announcement by the government PIB refuted along with stating Ms. Minister of Information did not issue statement.
