Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The revered actor Paresh Rawal has confirmed that he will not be reprising his nostalgic role of Babu Rao in the coming Hera Pheri 3. This has shocked many, especially after all the fuss regarding the original cast coming back together.
In his own words, Rawal stated, “I understand that many people were shocked, and we did make a great trio with Priyadarshanji directing us, but I suffered because I opted out.”
No Disputes or Conflicts, In the Words of Paresh Rawal
The veteran stated that it is his choice that he does not role a in creative dispute, or payment negotiation. “There were no issues with the director and there was absolutely no conflict with Priyadarshan, whom I respect a lot. I just don’t want to play that part,” he explains. He further argued that he is not ready to work at the moment, but feels willing to consider other offers in the future.
Akshay Kumar Takes Legal Action
Like reported in Hindustan Times, the performer Akshay Kumar has to put in legal work against Rawal for alleged breach of contract. Under his production company Cape of Good Films, Akshay claims Rawal has pulled out of the project when there’s evidence he signed a contract.
Kumar has never sued an actor in his entire 35-year long career in the film industry, which is unusual for someone of his stature. This is bound to change considering he has the legal rights for the Hera Pheri franchise after acquiring them from producer Firoz Nadiadwala.
