Oru Jaathi Jathakam OTT Release Date Confirmed: Having faced censor-related delays for it's digital release, Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Malayalam movie Oru Jaathi Jathakam has finally been set free. The Jaathi Jathakam was released theatrically on 31 January and, , in a 'not so strange' marketing tactic, has already been made available on Prime for overseas audiences. Starting from April 1, 2025, Oru Jaathi Jathakam will be available on Manorama MAX for everyone else.
Oru Jaathi Jathakam plot summary
Jayesh, a 38 year old from north Malabar, finds himself at the center of a hilarious turn of events as his dream of marriage seems impossible to him. As his old-school expectations keep marrying palm reader Sinitha who had predicted chaos and embarrassment Jayesh desperately needs to get married.
In his comical journey, Jayesh meets a variety of women that make him contemplate love, relationships, marriage and true happiness. With a blend of emotions and comedies, the film depicts the process of seeking self discovery and challenge societal expectations so it it can resonate with anyone has had a similar struggle.

Oru Jaathi Jathakam” was directed by M. Mohanan and the screenplay was done by Rakesh Mantodi. The film was produced by Maha Subair for Varnachithra Big Screen. The film is Guna Balasubramani’s musical, which Viswajith Odukkathil has done the cinematography for, while the editing was done by Ranjan Abraham. The movie features Nikhila Vimal, Babu Antony, Kayadu Lohar, Isha Talwar, Pooja Mohanraj, Mridul Nair, Sayanora Phiplip, Vidhu Prathap, Ranji Kankol, Amal Thaha, Indu Thampi and P. P. Kunhikrishnan.
