Suspense crime, Digital Desk : As a result of the cruel massacre of civilians in Pahalgam, India commenced Operation Sindoor, which involved a coordinated military strike on nine terror targets in Pakistan. Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that this action was in retaliation to the massacre of “our innocent brothers” in Jammu and Kashmir.

He highlighted the administration’s stern position by saying, “The Modi government is absolutely determined to respond in an appropriate manner to every single attack on India and her people. Bharat is steadfast in its commitment to fighting terrorism.”
Nine Terror Bases Targeted in Coordinated Assault
In India's counteroffensive response, there was the involvement of the Army, Navy, and Air Forces of India, who, in a joint operation, provided precision strikes on critical terror infrastructure. Among the targets were the Jaish-e-Mohammad's headquarter at Bahawalpur and the Lashkar-e-Taiba’s facility at Muridke. This operation was a notable show of India’s multi-domain capability in warfare.
Diplomatic Unity Over Use of Armed Forces
The move had bipartisan support. Rahul Gandhi, The Indian National Congress Member who is the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, also fully supported highlighting the Armed Forces by exclaiming, “Proud of our Armed Forces. Jai Hind!”
M. S. Jaishankar explained the necessity of the world adopting a more mainstream policy of zero tolerance towards terror activities. On the other hand, Rajnath Singh also added his voice with a supportive phrase, “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
Solemn Unity in the Fight Against Terrorism
Also, AIMIM party head Asaduddin Owaisi came out in support of stepping up the fighting forces. He emphazised that something urgent has to be done against Pakistan's terror network and suggested “The Pakistani deep state has to be dealt with an iron hand so that we do not have another Pahalgam.”
Owaisi continued Indian efforts should be focused towards the complete elimination of the terror infrastructure built inside the borders of the neighboring country.
