So, is it value for money, or should you look for something else? Continue reading to find out.
Noise ColorFit Pro 6 Max: Design
The Noise ColorFit Pro 6 Max has a unique shape that can be described as rectangular and possesses a crown that can be rotated and a button on the right pane. Its build quality screams premium as the sides have a metallic finish with a glossy touch, making it rugged as well. The most visible part of the watch is its display while the back houses all the essential sensors. We are provided on the left side with a speaker pane which enables hands free voice calls.
One aesthetic it's outfitted with is water resistant technology so you can use it while swimming without worrying about damaging it. We even tried it while playing some outdoor games and even in the shower, with no issues at all. This robust protection enables the smartwatch to withstand dust, dirt and sand while having a performance range equal to a depth of 50 meters. It's quite easy to put on and take off because the strap has a magnetic attachment.
For those who aren’t fond of silicone straps, Noise offers the possibility to change these into a chain, sports, or leather strap. Since these standard straps are 22 mm wider, anyone can replace them with any aftermarket 22 mm bands. Overall, the watch looks good on the wrist and is light in weight, which makes it comfortable for use throughout the day. Noise ColorFit Pro 6 Max: Display
Noise ColorFit Pro 6 Max has a big 1.96-inch display with HD AMOLED screen is sharp and bright. The smartwatch display is bright owing to its AMOLED panel, and it supports the Always-On Display (AOD) feature. At the user’s discretion, the AOD functionality can be set to turn on at specific times. Text and icons on the HD screen are sharp and boast easy readability, while the screen is highly visible, even to direct sunlight.
Nonetheless, you will have to increase or lower the brightness yourself since there is no sensor that detects the surrounding light, which can be a nuisance if you are moving constantly between inside and outside. This device from Noise does incorporate some of their AI features like custom watch face background generation and health or sleep data summarization.
Noise ColorFit Pro 6 Max: Software and performance
Daily tasks have been simplified by a custom EN2 chip, which the Noise ColorFit Pro 6 Max ships with. During our usage, we did not experience lag with the smartwatch. Given the 60Hz refresh rate, scrolling and touch responses are very smooth. Plus, swiping across the screen does not cause any delay either.
On the software side, the watch operates with Nebula UI 2.0 which combines simplicity and usability for a user friendly experience. The quick view panel now has larger icons for easier identification, similar to what is found on smartphones. The crown can easily be turned to scroll and browse the interface without any issues. Nevertheless, the quality of vibration feedback could be improved.
Pro 6 Max has received a boost in its health features as the smartwatch now accommodates over 100 sports activities. Apart from various running and cycling sessions, the modes include badminton, yoga, swimming, and even core workouts. Small hikes and cycling tours can now be tracked through the inbuilt GPS, too. One problem that we ran into was rather problematic - there are times when the watch begins a workout session on its own without having a GPS signal. This issue can certainly be mitigated through a software update.
Pro 6 Max comes with a set of health features designed to suit professional sports enthusiasts – its over 100 sports modes alongside automatic computer applications make the watch user friendly. With regard to taking calls, the watch is loud enough for the user to understand. The person on the other line had a few issues when trying to speak to someone who had set the watch as the default audio device. He set the watch as he set the watch on his wrist and the set speaker output was not clear enough. For someone riding motorbikes or two wheelers, the wind noise is far too much which lowers the speaker volume. Another drawback is that ColorFit Pro 6 Max sometimes automatically set itself as a default bluetooth device. The defaut blue tooth devices kept changing from the phone to the watch which was irritating and took the focus away from the main task.
Noise ColorFit Pro 6 Max: App features and battery life details
The noise brand states that the ColorFit Pro 6 Max has a week's battery life and in our usage, we found that the watch gave a similar battery life under normal usage. On the other hand, if the Always on Display feature is enabled, it will only last for three days. Furthermore, the battery drains faster when using the inbuilt GPS compared to when not using it. It charges in about one and a half hours using the provided magnetic charger, and the cable has a USB A output port which can be connected to any other third party charger or power bank for easy charging.
NoiseFit app allows ColorFit Pro 6 Max users to choose different watch faces from the vast collection available on the cloud. In addition to that, users are also allowed to upload any background of their choice. With so many possibilities at hand, users can build a highly customized smartwatch with the style they desire and AI can also be used to create custom designs that the user imagines.
The NoiseFit app provides increased levels of control when tracking fitness and weather related data. It provides greater detail on the user’s health as well as their location.
Noise ColorFit Pro 6 Max: Verdict
The ColorFit Pro 6 Max smartwatch by Noise is highly appealing due to its advanced features, eye-catching design, and comfortable feel. It offers durable construction through stainless steel materials, customization options, invigorating AMOLED display and suits smartwatch users well. Users who often change their wallpapers equally benefit from the inclusion of AI watch faces.
On the other hand, in some use cases the ColorFit Pro 6 Max suffers from poor battery life and lacks an auto-brightness sensor. Due to this reason, not every user would find it suitable. Nevertheless, for those who are in need of a trendy yet functional smartwatch and do not mind these drawbacks, the Noise ColorFit Pro 6 Max is a good option at a starting price of 6999 sturdy INR.
