Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Director RS Prasanna, who is helming Aamir Khan's highly anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par, has directly addressed and dismissed swirling rumors of a creative fallout between him and the superstar. In a candid conversation, Prasanna set the record straight, emphasizing that their collaboration is built on mutual respect and a shared vision, not friction.
Speculation about an "ego clash" on set has been making the rounds, but the director, known for his acclaimed film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, was quick to debunk the narrative. "There was no ego clash at all," Prasanna stated emphatically. He explained that any creative differences that arose were part of a healthy collaborative process aimed at making the best possible film.
Prasanna revealed that Aamir Khan was not just one of many options for the lead role—he was the only one he ever envisioned. "He was the only name that came to my mind," the director shared, highlighting his conviction that Khan was perfect for the part.
Describing their working dynamic, Prasanna used the term "jugalbandi," a musical term for a duet between two skilled artists. He praised Aamir Khan's deep involvement and passion for cinema, noting that the actor's reputation as "Mr. Perfectionist" stems from a genuine desire to achieve excellence.
Furthermore, Prasanna pointed out that Aamir's role as a producer on Sitaare Zameen Par only enhances their partnership. This dual role allows Khan to contribute more deeply to the project, a quality the director highly values. "He is one of the most collaborative people I've worked with," Prasanna added.
Sitaare Zameen Par, which also stars Genelia Deshmukh, is being described as a spiritual successor to the 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par. With the director clearing the air, it's evident that the on-set relationship is one of synergy, not conflict, raising expectations for the final product.
