Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The public feud between singers Mika Singh and Diljit Dosanjh has taken a dramatic new turn, with Punjabi music superstar Guru Randhawa seemingly entering the fray. In a cryptic social media post, Randhawa has hinted that the entire controversy, including the "Boycott Diljit Dosanjh" narrative, is a manufactured "fake narrative."
The controversy erupted when Mika Singh publicly slammed Diljit Dosanjh for reportedly collaborating with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir on the upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3. Mika called Diljit a "fake singer" and questioned his patriotism, referencing the unofficial ban on Pakistani artists working in Bollywood.
Adding fuel to the fire, Guru Randhawa posted a note on his Instagram Story with just three lines:
- "Fake narrative"
- "Fake PR"
- "The artists"
While Randhawa did not name anyone, the timing and content of the post have led to widespread speculation that it is a direct response to the ongoing spat. His message is being interpreted as a show of support for Diljit Dosanjh and a veiled accusation that the controversy is not a genuine issue of patriotism but a publicity stunt.
Randhawa's post suggests that the narrative targeting Diljit is manufactured for attention. As this war of words escalates, it has now drawn in another major artist, turning a one-on-one disagreement into a wider industry debate.
Diljit Dosanjh has, so far, remained silent on the matter.
