The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results of the University Grants Commission's National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) for 84 subjects late on Friday night. Alongside the scorecards, the testing agency has also made the final answer keys accessible to aspirants across the country. According to official data shared by senior NTA officials, over 97,000 candidates out of the 6.07 lakh test-takers have successfully qualified for PhD admissions, while more than 4,000 candidates have secured selection for the prestigious Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

Details on Upcoming Re-Exams for Specific Subjects

While results for the majority of streams have been finalized and published, candidates appearing for select disciplines must note upcoming schedule modifications. The NTA previously ordered mandatory re-examinations for aspirants who attempted the English, Commerce, and Sociology papers in June 2026. An expert committee identified technical flaws, including factual, typographical, translation, and language errors within those specific question papers. Consequently, the re-tests for English, Commerce, and Sociology are officially scheduled to take place on September 9, 2026, and September 10, 2026.

How to Access UGC-NET Final Answer Key 2026

Along with the results announcement, the NTA confirmed the release of the final answer keys for all 84 subjects on Friday. In an official communication shared via its social media handle on X, the agency instructed candidates to log in using their credentials to verify individual subject answer keys. Following the thorough review of candidate objections and challenges, the published final answer key reflects all verified corrections applied by subject experts, ensuring complete transparency in the evaluation process.
