The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results of the University Grants Commission's National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) for 84 subjects late on Friday night. While results for the majority of streams have been finalized and published, candidates appearing for select disciplines must note upcoming schedule modifications. The NTA previously ordered mandatory re-examinations for aspirants who attempted the English, Commerce, and Sociology papers in June 2026. An expert committee identified technical flaws, including factual, typographical, translation, and language errors within those specific question papers. Consequently, the re-tests for English, Commerce, and Sociology are officially scheduled to take place on September 9, 2026, and September 10, 2026.
