Ketan Agarwal Case: Shocking Viral Stadium Video of Accused Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary Surfaces as Police Question Family for 10+ Hours
A fresh development has emerged in the ongoing investigation into the high-profile murder of Pune-based realtor Ketan Agarwal. A video that allegedly shows the primary accused, Siya Goyal, and co-accused, Chetan Chaudhary, sitting together at a cricket stadium has surfaced online. It is now being widely shared across major social media platforms.
The video has come to light as Pune local police continue to investigate the chilling murder of 25-year-old Ketan Agarwal, who died after falling from a cliff at Lohagad Fort in Pune district on June 18. Criminal investigators claim the fatal fall was not an accident but part of a cold, planned conspiracy involving Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary.
Police Question Family Members for Over 10 Hours
Meanwhile, the scope of the investigation has expanded significantly with the Lonavala Rural Police aggressively questioning members of Siya Goyal’s immediate family. Her parents, Pravin and Puja Goyal, along with her brother Sahil, were called into the Lonavala Rural Police Station to record their statements officially.
According to senior police officials, Sahil Goyal had already been intensely questioned for more than 10 hours on Friday before being summoned again alongside his parents. Investigating officers are trying to piece together deeper information regarding Siya’s secret relationship with Chetan and the exact sequence of events leading up to Ketan Agarwal’s tragic death.
Broken Engagement Leads to Tragic Cliff Murder Plot
Police have alleged that Siya and Ketan were officially engaged and scheduled to get married in November. However, investigators claim Siya did not want to go ahead with the arranged marriage and, alongside Chetan, allegedly hatched a lethal plot to kill him. Following the high-profile arrests, the stress of the case caused Siya’s father to be briefly admitted to the hospital after reportedly falling severely ill.
Deleting Chats and Forensic Digital Probe
The investigation has also shifted sharply toward the digital footprints left by the accused. Cyber police claim Siya and Chetan intentionally deleted their entire phone chats and completely emptied their mobile recycle bins both right before and immediately after the incident.
Both mobile phones have now been confiscated and sent to a state forensic laboratory to recover the scrubbed data. Investigators further allege that the two individuals met at a local café on the day of the incident to finalise their plan and identify the exact, unguarded location at Lohagad Fort where Ketan would allegedly be pushed off the cliff.
Trial Fast-Tracked as Advocate Ujjwal Nikam Steps In
On Friday, Ketan Agarwal’s grieving father, Vishal Agarwal, met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to demand justice. According to state officials, the Chief Minister agreed to conduct the entire trial in a fast-track court and immediately appointed the legendary senior advocate Ujjwal Nikam as the state's special public prosecutor.
To honour the memory of the young realtor, a massive candlelight vigil has been organised by residents at the Belmondo Housing Society in Gahunje, where the deceased lived. Both Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary remain in strict police custody as the interrogation continues.
