Mouni Roy Unfazed by Trolls, Gears Up for Action-Packed Role in 'The Bhootnii':

Mouni Roy Naagin’s best known name, has repeated gotten her fair share of social media trolling considering her looks and overall public persona. That hasn’t bottered her much at all. While interacting with paparazzi, Mouni shared her personal take on online trolling. In her words:

“Kuch nahin. Dekhti hee nahi. Let everyone do their job… Main aise bolne walon par nahin… If you choose to sit behind a computer screen and troll others and that’s your idea of a good time, then so be it.”

Instagram Reel Sparks Speculation

As far as speculations regarding trollable content goes, actress of Brahmāstra was in the limelight recently due to a new Instagram reel where she could be seen donning a strapless black gown accompanied with new bangs. Even though the majority exclaimed over her new looks, portions of them had their own theories revolving Mouni potentially having had some Botox or lip filler. At the end of the day, Mouni chose to ignore the speculation and focus on work.

Leading Role in Upcoming Horror Comedy ‘The Bhootnii’

Mouni Roy is set to star in the forthcoming horror action comedy The Bhootnii where she features as "Mohabbat," the ghostly character. There is something unique about this role that she will be performing all her octagonal stunts herself.

“All the stunts in the film were performed by myself. After Naagin and Brahmāstra, I got comfortable with harnesses and action choreography,” Mouni noted, highlighting her dance background along with how easily she picks up new skills.

Bhootnii has also cast Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Beyounick and Aasif Khan. With a stellar ensemble and professional stunt crew, the movie is gaining attention before the new April 18, 2025 release date.
