Mother's Day Special: The dog was biting the little one, the mother did not wait for anything… this is how she pulled her daughter from the jaws of death
Pali News: It is said that when a child is threatened, Mother Goddess takes the form of Kali. A similar example of a mother's courage has emerged from the Pali district of Rajasthan, deepening the definition of motherhood on this Mother's Day. Here, a mother, using the power of her love and indomitable courage, snatched her two-year-old daughter from the jaws of death (a dog attack).
The incident took place in Sherawala village, located in the Nana police station area of Pali district. Sawaram Garasia's two-year-old daughter, Sangeeta, was sleeping on a bed with her brothers in the courtyard of their house. The main gate was open and a ferocious stray dog entered. The dog grabbed Sangeeta's head in its jaws, knocked her off the bed, and began dragging her outside.
Hearing innocent Sangeeta's painful cries, her mother, Chakubai, who was working inside the house, ran outside with lightning speed. The sight before her was spine-chilling: a piece of her heart was in the jaws of a beast, tearing it apart.
Victory of mother's stick and love
Without wasting a moment, Chakubai picked up a nearby stick and, fearing for her own safety, attacked the dog. She attacked it repeatedly. Frightened by her mother's fierceness and attack, the ferocious dog finally let go of the child and fled. This scene was nothing short of miraculous, as an unarmed mother risked her own life for her child.
Battle in the hospital: 12 stitches on the head
The attack was so severe that the girl's head was severely injured. The family immediately rushed the bleeding Sangeeta to Bangar Hospital in Pali. Doctors said the girl suffered deep wounds to her head, requiring 12 stitches to heal. Sangeeta has been undergoing treatment for the past three days and is now out of danger.
Growing terror: Questions on administration
The menace of stray dogs continues unabated in Pali district. Just a few days ago, a dog attacked and injured an elderly woman, Liladevi, an elderly man, and 13-year-old Aditya in a Housing Board colony. These repeated incidents have raised serious questions about the functioning of the local administration and the Municipal Council.
