Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a telephone call from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday aimed at strengthening the already robust ties between the two nations The two leaders engaged in a productive discussion focusing on the India Israel Strategic Partnership and expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved so far They emphasized their commitment to further deepening this cooperation for mutual benefit The conversation significantly touched upon the ongoing situation in West Asia with both leaders exchanging views on regional developments A key part of the dialogue was the unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations with both Prime Ministers reaffirming a zero tolerance approach towards such threats Prime Minister Modi also reiterated India’s long standing support for peace in the region and specifically advocated for efforts toward achieving a just and durable solution which includes the early implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan Leaders agreed to maintain regular communication to monitor these evolving strategic and geopolitical issues
