According to the information, a stampede broke out after the bouncers tried to stop them from pushing and shoving. More than one lakh people are reaching the Katha every day. Police officials reached the spot as soon as they got the information about the stampede. Meerut DM Deepak Meena said that there is no report of any casualty. Some women had fallen and they have been lifted. The police-administration is fully prepared on the spot. He told that all the necessary permissions for the Katha had already been taken. He said that there was a little crowd at the entry gate in which some women fell. There is no report of any casualty or injury.
