Diwali festival is being celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the world including India. Not only India but Diwali wishes have been given by the heads of state of many countries. Many leaders including US President Joe Biden, British PM Keir Starmer, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have congratulated the Indian community on Diwali. What did Joe Biden say?
US President Joe Biden has also linked Diwali to the US elections. Joe Biden wrote – “This Diwali, let us show strength in the gathering of light. The light of knowledge, of unity, of truth. The light for freedom, for democracy, for an America where anything is possible.” Let us tell you that on October 29, Joe Biden organized a Diwali celebration at his official residence.
British PM seen celebrating Diwali
Britain/UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer was also seen celebrating Diwali. He wrote- “Happy Diwali to all those celebrating the festival across the UK. I wish you and your family happiness. It is a time to come together and welcome. It is a moment to focus our eyes on the light that always conquers darkness.”

Israel has also extended Diwali greetings to the people of India. Israel’s official handle tweeted- “Happy #Diwali to our friends celebrating around the world. May this festival of lights bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to all. Today and always, we are grateful for the deep ties between our people. At the same time, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu wrote- “I wish my dear friend Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all the people of India a Happy Diwali. The friendship between our two countries is deep and will continue to grow.”

UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also congratulated on Diwali. He wrote- “Heartiest greetings to all those celebrating Deepawali in UAE and around the world.
