Aviation Suspension: As hostilities increase between India and Pakistan, the government has suspended civilian flights at 32 airports in north and west India until May 15. This is expected to breach the threshold of 400 flights a day. The suspension will last from May 9 until DGCA’s reset on May 15, 5:29 am. Citizens have been advised to reschedule and call their airlines for the latest updates. The government and security agencies are actively tracking the events and will adapt as needed.
The suspended airporst include Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Ambala, Ludhiana, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Uttarlai, Rajkot, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Dharamshala, Bathinda, Patiala, Pathankot, Shimla, Kishangarh, Hindon, Porbandar, Mundra and Kandla.
