Thane: NCP (SP) leader Jitendra Awhad has predicted and claimed that JD(U)’s Nitish Kumar and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu will withdraw their support to the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre if the Maha Vikas Aghadi comes to power in Maharashtra. The sitting MLA from Mumbra-Kalwa assembly constituency, who has been re-nominated by his party, hit out at the Eknath Shinde government over the state’s “financial instability” and accused the BJP and RSS of trying to disrupt peace in the country.
Awhad’s claim
He claimed at a rally in Mumbra near Thane on Saturday that if the opposition party Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) forms the government after the November 20 assembly elections, its effect will be seen at the Center and BJP allies Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu will stop supporting it. He said, let the Maha Vikas Aghadi government come to Maharashtra and see how within the next seven days Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar will withdraw their support from the central government.
Sharad Pawar never bowed down.
Awad said that Sharad Pawar is such a leader who neither bowed down to PM Modi nor Amit Shah. I know how Sharad Pawar has worked to expand the Nationalist Congress Party. He said Sharad Pawar had fifth-stage cancer, but still, he kept working to save the party. Ajit Pawar even pushed his uncle Sharad Pawar out and also stole the watch (election symbol), this gang is a gang of pickpockets.
