Loveyapa OTT Release Date: This film featured Khushi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi, and Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan, in their first leading roles on screen. It was released on 7th February this year, and the romantic comedy was able to light up the box office with 9.56 crore. The film is now set to grace the OTT platform. As per reports, Loveyapa will start streaming on JioHotstar from April 4, 2025, as per OTTPlay.
Loveyapa’s plot summary
The film follows Baani and Gaurav, who are a young couple in love and deeply committed to each other and are on the verge of getting married. They are from the well-known class family and at a good growing age but of-late facing lot more pressure from their parents to perform. After giving closing to couple of other parameters, Baanis father finally agrees to break off the engagement in return something called the “test of trust”. In order to believe the couple, he challenges them to exchange their unlocked phones for an entire day.
Initially, it seems like a simplistic examination. But due to many hidden messages, surprises and revealing secrets, this has the potential to derail their entire relationship. What do you think? Will the couple overcome the test, or desperately fail catching the phones situation? Loveyapa portrays the alluring and complicated persona of love, trust, and the degree of social network parental control.
Loveyapa film and cast detail
Beside the leading pair, the film features Ashutosh Rana, Grusha Kapoor, Kiku Sharda, Aditya Kulshreshth, Devishi Madaan, Tanvika Parlikar, Arnav Roy, Kavita Kaushik, and Sudesh Lehri in important roles. Loveyapa is directed by Advait Chandan, with Rajesh Nare handling the cinematography and Antara Lahiri serving as the film’s editor. This one is a production from AGS Entertainment and Phantom Studios.
