Public sector Punjab National Bank (PNB) has given a total loan of Rs 10.64 lakh crore in the second quarter (July-September 2024) of the current financial year 2024-25. From July 1 to September 30, 2024, PNB’s loan disbursement increased by 13 percent to Rs 10.64 lakh crore. Punjab National Bank gave this information in a notice given to the stock market. By the end of September 30, 2023, the total advance of the bank was Rs 9.41 lakh crore.
PNB deposits rise 11.41 percent to Rs 14.59 lakh crore
The government bank told the stock market that total deposits grew by 11.41 percent to Rs 14.59 lakh crore in the second quarter, as against Rs 13.09 lakh crore at the end of the second (July-September) quarter of the previous financial year 2023-24. The total business of the bank grew by 12 percent to Rs 25.23 lakh crore as compared to Rs 22.51 lakh crore at the end of September 30, 2023.
