Mirai is the new project from the buzz-worthy director Karthik Gattamneni and is staring the exceptionally talented Teja Sajja, who is known for his performance in 2024 blockbuster HanuMan. News in the trade is that Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is plans to join the project. Mirai currently has the attention of the public and that is favorable compromise considering the involvement of Dharma Productions in various other big projects like S S Rajamouli-Prabhas’s Baahubali and Shankar-Rajinikanth’s 2.0.
If the reports and speculation are right, this merger is to promote ‘Mirai’ like no other. With Karan Johar’s eye for spectacles and marketable cinema, along with his equally impressive Dharma Productions distribution network, Mirai has the leverage to become purposefully marketed as a nation-wide event movie.
The story follows a warrior who is tasked to defend and protect nine sacred scriptures. The production team is determined to release a film that deeply intertwines the pinnacle of modern and mythical storytelling. With all the promises being made, Mirai is certainly a film to await and casually gaze out for the motion poster.
Gowra Hari created the music score for Mirai. Besides Teja Sajja, the film also features Manoj Manchu and Ritika Nayak. The movie will be released on September 5 in multiple languages.
Meanwhile, People Media Factory started 2025 on the right foot with the success of the Sunny Deol film Jaat. Apart from Mirai, they also have other several other exciting features such as Prabhas’ horror comedy The RajaSaab.
