Actor Jr NTR and director Sukumar are once again making headlines after a touching photo of the two went viral online. The picture, posted by Sukumar’s wife Thabitha Sukumar on her Instagram story, shows the longtime collaborators sharing a warm hug. She captioned the image with “Tarak Ki Prematho,” a reference to their 2016 film Nannaku Prematho. Jr NTR later reshared the post, adding the caption, “Nannu Eppuduu Ventaade Emotion” (“The emotion always follows me Sukumar”).
Fans Speculate Possible Film Collaboration
The heartfelt moment between the actor and director has reignited hopes among fans that the duo may work together again soon. Their previous film, Nannaku Prematho, was a critical and commercial success. Released in 2016, the movie starred Rakul Preet Singh, Jagapathi Babu, and Rajendra Prasad. It followed a gripping revenge storyline and completed nine years in January 2025.
Since then, Jr NTR and Sukumar have not collaborated again, making the viral image all the more exciting for fans.
Jr NTR’s Upcoming Projects
Jr NTR is currently immersed in several high-profile projects. He is filming War 2 with Hrithik Roshan, marking his big Bollywood debut. He’s also working with director Prashanth Neel on a film tentatively titled Dragon.
The actor is set to begin shooting Devara 2, the sequel to his earlier movie Devara. Additionally, strong industry reports suggest a possible future collaboration with Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar.
