Jharkhand Government Promotes 22 Education Officers and Confirms Services of Three Administrative Officials
In a significant administrative development, the School Education and Literacy Department in Jharkhand has announced promotions for 22 officials belonging to the State Education Service. Alongside this departmental elevation, the Personnel Department has officially confirmed the services of three key administrative officers across the state.
22 Education Service Officers Promoted to Level 11
The recent promotions cover several crucial district-level education posts, including District Education Officers (DEOs) and District Education Superintendents (DSEs). Following this order, the pay scale for the promoted officers has been upgraded from Level 9 to Level 11 of the Pay Matrix, bringing career advancement to educators and administrators managing school operations across various districts.
Promoted officials span multiple regions of the state, ensuring broader administrative oversight. Key officials included in the promotion list comprise:

Abhay Kumar Sheel (Ramgarh DEO)
Kumari Neelam (Hazaribagh DEO)

Md. Wasim Ahmed (Ranchi DEO)
Binod Kumar (Deoghar DEO)
Additional educational administrators and superintendents, including Mithilesh Kerketta (Simdega DEO), Santosh Gupta (Principal of DIET, Pakur), Atul Kumar Choubey (Bokaro DSE), Nayan Kumar (Sahibganj DSE), Das Sunanda Chandramouleshwar (Lohardaga DEO), Sanjeet Kumar (Dumka DEO), Mukul Raj (Koderma DSE), Charles Hembram (Jamtara DEO), Anita Purti (Pakur), and Mithila Tudu (Godda DSE), have also received promotions. Furthermore, Manoj Kumar, the administrative officer of the Jharkhand Education Project Council, was promoted, while retired officer Jayant Mishra received a notional promotion.
