Tej Pratap Yadav Launches Scathing Attack on BJP MLC Pawan Singh at Patna Event, Alleges Alcohol Use
Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD) supremo Tej Pratap Yadav has once again drawn headlines following a sharp and direct verbal attack on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislative Council member and prominent Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh. The remarks were made during the grand finale of the "Bhojpuriya Bawal" event held at Gyan Bhawan in Patna, where several figures from the Bhojpuri film fraternity were in attendance.
Tej Pratap Yadav Targets Pawan Singh Over Alcohol Allegations
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the event, Tej Pratap Yadav launched into a scathing critique of Pawan Singh. When journalists pressed him about artists consuming alcohol, the JJD leader openly named Pawan Singh, alleging that the actor drinks and questioning his conduct while holding an official legislative position.
When questioned about Bihar's prohibition laws, Tej Pratap Yadav suggested that authorities conduct medical tests, claiming that an investigation would reveal violations. He further criticized those in power, accusing them of enjoying official positions while the general public faces hardships, and used sharp remarks to dismiss further discussion on the matter.
Clarifying Personal Stance and Past Interactions
During the interaction, Tej Pratap Yadav also addressed his own lifestyle and spiritual beliefs, emphasizing that as a devotee of Lord Krishna who frequently visits Vrindavan and wears a Tulsi garland, he stays completely away from alcohol. He also responded to queries regarding former associates linked to the event's organization and the ongoing police inquiries.
This is not the first time the political figure has criticized the Bhojpuri superstar. Previously, comments had been made regarding the actor's political shifts and public conduct, with Yadav asserting that artists are best appreciated for their craft and performances rather than political maneuvers.
