JBVNL Orders Major Administrative Reshuffle, Transfers 5 Electrical Executive Engineers

In a key administrative reorganization designed to streamline operational oversight and power distribution across the state, Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL) has issued immediate transfer and posting orders for five senior Electrical Executive Engineers. The official order was sanctioned and released from the power distribution corporation's central headquarters at the Engineering Building in Dhurwa, Ranchi, on Wednesday evening. Signed under the authority of the Deputy General Manager (Human Resources), the departmental directive takes effect immediately, mandating that the designated executive engineers relinquish their current charges and assume their newly assigned field and zonal jurisdictions without delay.
Key Postings Across Ranchi, Chakradharpur, and Medininagar Circles
Under the newly issued restructuring schedule, prominent engineering postings within the state capital and surrounding industrial circles have seen significant changes. Gaurav Kumar, who was serving as the Executive Engineer of the Kokar Electricity Supply Division in Ranchi, has been transferred to West Singhbhum district and assigned as the Executive Engineer of the Chakradharpur Electricity Supply Division. Meanwhile, Mohammad Shamshad Alam, who was stationed as Executive Engineer (CC & RM) under the Electricity Supply Zone in Medininagar, has been transferred to the capital city; he takes over the strategic administrative responsibilities as Executive Engineer (TRW & Stores) under the Electricity Supply Zone, Ranchi, with immediate effect.
Strategic Engineering Shift in Madhupur, Dhanbad, and Chhatarpur Divisions
The reshuffle also recalibrates leadership across critical transmission repair and distribution hubs in central and northern Jharkhand. Kafeel Ansari, formerly managing TRW & Stores under the Ranchi Electricity Supply Zone, has been moved to Deoghar district to serve as the Executive Engineer of the Electricity Supply Division in Madhupur. Concurrently, Rohit Manjhi, who was holding the reins of the Madhupur Electricity Supply Division, has been transferred back to the state capital to succeed Gaurav Kumar as the new Executive Engineer of the Kokar Electricity Supply Division in Ranchi. Completing the personnel reorganization, Abhishek Kumar Singh, formerly serving as Executive Engineer (CC&RM) in the Electricity Supply Area of Dhanbad, has been transferred to Palamu district and posted as the Executive Engineer for the Electricity Supply Division in Chhatarpur to drive regional revenue recovery and grid stability.
