The results for JEEE Main 2025 were released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on a Saturday. Of the over one million students who registered, around 25% turned up for the exam in June and July. 24 candidates achieved a perfect 100 in the examination. Among the other NTA JEE Main Topper Scorers, One scored an Outstanding 100 as well which places them in the East India region. Rajastan ranked Phenomenally outperforming the rest of the country for the amount of candidates who achieved full scores. Among them, there was one adult female.

Unsanctioned Document Use Found on 110 Candidate Files

NTA suspended 110 students from writing the examination due to them allegedly having forged papers and other documents that did not satisfy the requirements for eligibility. These students are currently being investigated.

Huge Attendance in Final Phase

Nationally, more than 9.92 Lakh candidates attended the second iteration of the JEE Main of 2025 which shows the level of rigor of this competetive exam.

How The NTA Distributes Scores

NTA officials claimed the scores released to the public aren’t actual percentages. Under the custom-tau method, scores are said to be adjusted for fairness across multiple sessions to ensure the evaluation standard is maintained. The process of Normalization in this case refers to the act of changing marks to a scale of 100-0 according to how one did each session relative to others.

The Chosen Path: Qualfying for JEE Advanced Level

Students passing JEE Main Paper 1 and 2 will subsequently attempt JEE Advanced 2025. This test functions as the entry point to 23 renowned Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) located in various parts of the country.
