Suspense crime, Digital Desk : On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India has transformed into the fastest-growing economy in the world and a key contributor towards climate action and digital technology innovation while addressing citizens during the past 11 years of his leadership.  

The Prime Minister also highlighted that the last 11 years have seen unprecedented improvement in the standard of living in the country and this marked the completion of one year of the Third Term of the administration.  

Social Inclusion and Influential Representation  

As an internal government report, 60% of current Union Ministers belonging to Scheduled Casts, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes have the highest representation of this caste in the history of India. This is an attempt to respond to social justice issues raised by opposition parties like Congress.  

Policy Reforms and Transformation at National Level  

Modi congratulated the 140 crore citizens on progress made in the country on multiple fronts during his address on X (previously Twitter). He said that as off now,” the NDA government, is directed by “Sabka Saath, Everyone, Togetherness, Sabka Vikas, Everyone Growth, Sabka Vishwas, Everyone Trust, Sabka Prayas, Everyone's Efforts” is heavily focusing on the pace at which policies are being executed.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the government has steered clear of the traditional development dichotomy to foster an economic and social advancement all encompassing, inclusive development.

Important Miles Stones Of Development:

Modi also showcased various development accomplishments during his time in office, including:

Over 81 crore people now beneficiaries of the free ration scheme.

Additional 15 crore households now have tap water supply.

4 crore houses for the economically weaker section have been built.

12 crore toilets have been built as part of the sanitation drives undertaken.

68 lakh street vendors have been granted access to the credit scheme.

52.5 crore loans have been sanctioned to small entrepreneurs.

Financial assistance was directly transferred to 20 crore women during the Covid period.

Emphasis on Vikasvaad and “Nation First” policy:

In the address, it was also pointed out that development (Vikasvaad) since 2014 has been on the focus of India’s political debate as well as policy. The India First motto continues to be the backbone of each and every step taken in this regard under Modi regime.  

In the ending note with the tone of progress and harmony, he told that they take pride for their achievements and with the focus to construct a developed India or ‘Viksit Bharat’ the goal is set on renewed determination.
