Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : On Wednesday, BJP leader Amit Malviya claimed that the terrorists who perpetrated the Pahalgam massacre sought out the victims’ religion before slaughtering them. However, he pointed out that Indian forces had the audacity to reveal their faith prior to executing a sensibly planned military op.
Malviya shared a clip on Twitter highlighting the difference between the April 22 terror attack and the June 5 military response. This was only a few moments after Indian forces brilliantly performed the execution of high-value terror assets in Pakistan and PoK.
“India Strikes Nine Large Terror Camps in Pakistan and PoK”
India, in retaliation to the Pahalgam strike which was believed to have claimed over 26 civilian lives, conducted missile strikes on Wednesday morning. The operations were reported to target 9 major terror sites in Pakistan and PoK which include: Jaish-e-Mohammad's base in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's in Muridke.
Initial Pakistan intelligence reports suggested that upwards of 70 terrorists had been neutralized with an additional 60 reported as wounded. These measures have dealt a considerable blow to the operational capacity of the targeted factions. The Ministry of Defense made it clear in their press release that these preemptive strikes were aimed at terrorist infrastructure that planned such attacks on Indian soil.
Response from the Prime Minister and National Security Drill
This military action was executed only a few hours before an intended national civil defence drill simulating hostile threat responses across 244 districts. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister, promised that every person who has done the attack and every person involved in planning it would be dealt with appropriately. He declared that the government will seek them “to the ends of the earth” and will take action “beyond their imagination.”
