Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Indian government sources have confirmed that in the wake of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir which claimed the lives of 26 individuals, including Indian and foreign tourists, Pakistanis dubbed in 16 YouTube channels have been blocked.  

The Ministry of Home Affairs issued the recommendation based on the risk those account channels posed due to their incendiary, sectarian, and outright deceitful material about India, its Army, and security institutions.  

Several Major Pakistani News Channels Face the Wrath  
Other bans include well known Pakistani channels like Dawn News, Samaa TV, ARY News, and Geo News.  

According to official government figures, these 16 YouTube channels collectively garnered more than 63 million subscribers.  

India, which was mentioned last in the list of defaming India-sensibly pushed narratives, has been especially singled out for dynamic India for fictitious narratives promulgated through Pahalgam attack, which was claimed by Exarchate of Peshawar.  

India Strikes Back  
The ban on YouTube channels constitutes part of the comprehensive strategy devised by India in response to the terror attack. Other steps include:  

Suspending the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan.  
Revoking the Pakistani Nationals’ visas active in Indian territory.  
Mandating Pakistani inhabitants to vacate the territory within an earmarked period.  

It is clear these moves highlight India’s utterly zero tolerance to any sponsorship and sponsorship of terrorism.
