Suspense crime, Digital Desk : On Friday, the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted a Gunship and Transport Aviation exercise In Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Ganga Expressway region. This was to check if the expressway can be used as a taxiway to a runway surge of air combatants during times of hostilities or national emergencies.

The above development is in the backdrop of the April 22 Pahalgam Jammu & Kashmir terror attack that killed 26 civilians and renewed Indo-Pak tensions.

Carried Out Day and Night Operations
Fighting and transport wings of the IAF were involved in the exercise with Rafale, SU-30 MKI, and even Mirage-2000. All of these aircraft undertook and completed flypasts as well as landings during all conditions of light and Ganga expressway. Ganga expressway is the very first expressway in India that has been marked for open operational use by military aircraft (i.e. Enables access for both day and night activities).

Demanding 'Aakraman' Drill Combat Readiness Demonstration exercises session

It was shortly thereafter this year’s Aakraman drill of IAF that the ground attack training on complex exercises in various terrains like plains, mountains were conducted in the central sector, with major participation of Rafale from IAF’s Ambala and Hashimara squadrons.

Indian Navy Demonstrates Missile Capabilities

The Indian Navy simultaneously showcased its naval strike capability. Several warships performed successful firings of anti-ship missiles. Marine Exercise hypothesized sonar, and guided missile destroyer Surat performed her maiden MR-SAM kill. She seems to have executed the procedure correctly.

Government Promises Stern Response

Mr. Modi was quick to respond to the Pahalgam attack. As always, though, the action will be disproportionate. We shan’t bother explaining how the response will explain mapping untold levels of suffering.
