Shaktimaan i.e. actor Mukesh Khanna is once again seen embroiled in controversies. Recently, during an interview, Mukesh Khanna took a dig at many stars including Akshay Kumar, Shahrukh Khan and Ranveer Singh. During this, he also targeted Bollywood’s Dabangg girl i.e. Sonakshi Sinha and made such a comment on the actress’s old answer on ‘Ramayana’ that the actress could not resist and took Mukesh Khanna to task. Sonakshi shared a long note on Instagram and replied to Mukesh Khanna and advised him not to question the upbringing of her father i.e. Shatrughan Sinha. After seeing Sonakshi’s attitude, Mukesh Khanna’s style has also softened. He has reacted to the actress’s retort on social media.

Mukesh Khanna has now responded to Sonakshi Sinha’s reaction after she was criticised by Mukesh Khanna for her lack of knowledge about the Hindu epic, Ramayana in a recent interview. On his Instagram handle, Mukesh Khanna clarified his intentions and wrote, “Dear Sonakshi, I am surprised that you took so long to respond. I knew I was offending you by naming you from that incident of the famous show ‘Ramayana’. But I had no malicious intention to defame you or your father, who is my senior and I share a very cordial relationship with him.”

Mukesh Khanna further wrote- ”My only purpose was to respond to today’s generation, which the elders call Gen-G, which has become a slave of today’s Google world and mobile phones. Their knowledge is limited to social interaction on Wikipedia and YouTube. And here I had a high-fi case of yours in front of me, which I thought I could use to teach others. Fathers, sons, daughters. To tell them that there is a huge and vast knowledge preserved in our culture and history which every youth of today should know. And I don’t know, but I feel proud of it. That’s all.”
