Hailstorm Alert: On May 1, 2025, didaka described heavy rainfall and hail would take place today but at the same time dust storm will take place at 8 locations.
Delhi (Weather Update Delhi NCR), Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and parts of Western Rajasthan have been placed under orange alert for dust storm. While there are places like Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Western Uttar Pradesh and Eastern Rajasthan which observes yellow alert for dust storm.
There is yellow alert for hailstorm in Uttarakhand today. Orange alert has been issued for hailstorm in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoaram and Tripura.
In the context of hailstorm alert, Orissa has received orange alert however alongside this orange alert there is also heavy rain alert (IMD Rain Alert) issued.
