The Bihar Vidhan Sabha witnessed a high-voltage drama on Thursday as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav engaged in a heated war of words. During his address on the Governor’s speech, Nitish Kumar didn’t hold back, leveling serious allegations against his former deputy.

The "Money Making" Allegation

Nitish Kumar revealed what he claims is the real reason for his fallout with Tejashwi Yadav. Speaking directly in the house, the CM said, "He was fine as long as he was with me. But later, he started doing 'gadbad' (wrongdoing) and making money improperly. That’s when I decided to leave him." According to Nitish, as soon as Tejashwi got a position of power, his focus shifted toward personal financial gain rather than governance. This direct "expose" by the CM has sent shockwaves through Bihar's political circles.

A History of Flip-Flops

This verbal duel is the latest chapter in the ever-changing relationship between the JD(U) and RJD. Nitish and Tejashwi have shared power twice, but both times the alliance ended in bitterness. Nitish’s latest remark suggests that the corruption allegations which have long followed the Yadav family were a primary driver for his most recent "U-turn" back to the NDA.

Tejashwi’s Counter-Attack

Tejashwi Yadav wasn't one to sit quietly. Earlier in the session, he criticized the Nitish-led government, stating that under the current regime, Bihar is seeing "destruction alongside injustice." He argued that the state's progress has stalled and that the Governor’s speech was far from the ground reality.

As the budget session continues, it’s clear that the battle for Bihar is no longer just about policies—it’s personal. With both leaders accusing each other of betraying the state's trust, the political temperature in Patna is at an all-time high.
