Hanuman Jayanti marks the auspicious day of Lord Hanuman’s birth. In the year 2025, it will be celebrated on 12th April in sync with Chaitra Purnima’s Tithi which commences on the 12th of April at 3:21 Am and ends at 5:51 Am on the 13th. As per Udaya Tithi, the celebration is observed on the 12th of April.

Astrological events are rare as they occur only once in 57 years. The phenomenon of forming Panchgrahi Yoga in conjunction with Hanuman Jayanti makes the day mystically powerful.

Devotees seeking spiritual blessings of Lord Hanuman can do so by offering the five sacred items listed below.

Hanuman ji is known to be very attartive to the red colored flowers. Devotees can use it to make a Tulsi mala which can be used while infusing Lord Ram puja.

Vermilion adjoined to Jasmine oil holds importance, especially when applied to Hanuman ji. Devotees suggest to make use of vermillion robe and cover betel leaf with cloves which is in the same spirit.

Boondi and Gram Flour Laddus won’t let Hanuman ji down. He is keen on sweet food and both these items can be served as prasadam.

Bajrangbali is said to bless roti laddus for their simplicity as they are simple yet special.

Offering gur (jaggery) and chana (gram) is considered spiritually significant.  

To Celebrate and Worship Sri Hanuman  

On Hanuman Jayanti, devotees may participate in the following activities to be blessed with divine grace.  

Sundarkand Path: Reciting this part of Ramcharit Manas bestows Shanti (calm) and courage.  

Chanting Hanuman Chalisa: It is believed that repeating the Hanuman Chalisa 100 times eases the most detrimental of hardships.  

Name Repetition: Repetition of great names of Lord Ram and Hanuman Ji is said to be done throughout the day in order to obtain concentration and to remove hurdles.
