The most current released movie Sky Force with the star casts include Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya has not only impressed the audience with best storyline but also refreshed the positive message about the daring heroes or real life heroes. Many heartfelt messages have been posted and the most memorable came from actor Gulshan Devaiah who took to twitter to honor Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya (AB Devaiah) a war hero, whose story is somehow incorporated in the novel on which the movie is based.
Gulshan Devaiah, a well-renowned actor who has always delivered powerful performances, took to Instagram on January 25, to pour his heartfelt tribute to the late Squadron Leader. He then made it clear that both of them are from Kodava community and despite having the same surname they are not related. But it was really apparent to me how proud they were of their people in every word that he said in his tribute.
The Legacy of Squadron Leader AB Devaiah
The story behind Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya is a true story of courage and endurance that. This officer personally participated in the Indo-Pak War 1965 and performed an option deep into enemy territory. During the most critical combat he managed to demonstrate great courage invariably in the face of great odds that the mission was a success before he was lost in action. That one act of bravery earned him the Maha Vir Chakra in 1988, even though this came 23 years after his death.
The legend of Devaiah stands for the selflessness and patriotism for the generations of Indian continue to emulate. However, his story has not gained much attention outside the military. Finally, there is Sky Force now highlighting his deeds which were long overdue for this real unsung hero.

In his latest heartfelt post, Gulshan Devaiah has said, “Since #SkyForce has taken off, let me just bring your attention to a war hero & martyr on whom a lead character is based upon.” We are of different generations but we have same name however not related .,but I am a #Kodava like he was & I wanted to bring some focus to a small martial art from our large country. It also inspired a pioneer of the Royal Indian Air Force, Squadron Leader AB Devaiah and representative of the war like and lively Kodava community of warriors.
Kodavas, belonging to the Kodagu region of Karnataka, have had a great history of turning out fine soldiers, and AB Devaiah was one of the best. He specified that Gulshan’s tribute drew attention to this legacy, and also brought attention to a hidden facet of warfare in India’s history.
Sky Force: A Box Office Triumph and a Heartfelt Tribute
Sky Force was launched on January 24 th and is now a lovely hit at the box office. The film grossed ₹11.25 crore on its first day, making such lofty goal possible for the film. It has also received success full marks from critics and from the audiences also for the war bravery and for the shining performance of Akshay Kumar.
Such a film is the Holiday, and with this kind of word of mouth, it is poised to ramp up in the following weeks as it had the benefit of release during the holidays. This can be considered as the beginning of Bollywood in 2025 and its indicators lay down the film line for the year.
