
A Chines aid agency stated that the government of China will send 100 million Chinese Yuan for humanitarian assistance. This is set to begin on Monday.
A state run news agency has stated rescuer teams are assigned to various parts of Myanmar with one located in the main hub of Yangon, while another is placed in China as well. On Saturday, 82 members of the Chinese rescue team were sent to Myanmar, and by Sunday, 118 members of the Xinhua news agency search and rescue team was also sent.
The government of Hong Kong stated that they have sent 51 members to assist and search in the ruined areas of Myanmar. Life detectors along with two search dogs have also been issued to the team. An official statement also relayed that the government will be allocating 30 million Hong Kong dollars in aid.
“A search and rescue team and a medical team is also on board this flight,” he said.
Officials said four additional aircraft with personnel and equipment were being dispatched, along with two navy vessels.
World Health Organization
The WHO has activated its emergency response plan and is readying trauma injury supplies while mobilizing their logistics hub in Dubai.
On Sunday they declared the earthquake the highest level of a crisis and stated that they would need eight million US dollars in the next thirty days to save lives and stop diseases from spreading.
Red Cross
The local Myanmar Red Cross Society has activated search and rescue efforts by dispatching trained volunteers to administer first aid, provide emergency relief, and mobile health services.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies made an emergency appeal on Sunday to provide life-saving assistance to 100,000 people at a cost of more than 100 million dollars.
United Nations
Alongside other partner organizations, the UN humanitarian agency OCHA is mobilizing emergency response efforts.
In a statement on Saturday, OCHA said, “There are serious gaps in the medical supplies needed to respond, including trauma kits, blood bags, anaesthetics, assistive devices, essential medicines, and tents for health workers.”
Myanamar
Ground Zero for the earthquake, Myanmar, is a country that US president, Donald Trump had promised assistance for. He called it a ‘terrible’ phenomena and tracked his nation’s attention towards aiding the damages.
EU
The EU isn’t far behind formally announcing their plans to allocate 2.5 million euros for further support to assist the immediate catering needs assessment of the impact site
Brithain
Britain announced plans to send a further helping hand by pledging 10 million euros to aid the humanitarian crisis. Minister in development, Jennifer Chapman stated, “I love to tap into on-the-ground funding partners whom I know are already set to employ aid services such esforced by the UK.”
Ireland
Some of the aid organisation, begining with the name cross UN agencies, shall recieved aid five million unallocated funds and Ireland has promised to allocated a further five as said initially.
Malaysia
The malaysian government will assign in total fifty people ranging from one commadnor and fort nine claw operators under the guidance of the chief commander.
Indonesia
As declared by the Head of the department of medical rescue, the Indonesian government is prepared to deploy a specialist rescue squad to Myanmar together with aid packages for medicine and logistics together with medical need for immediate assistance through ship or chopper at any location needed.
Philippines The Philippines indicated on Saturday that it was dispatching a group of 114, which included medics, firefighters, and armed service members. The but tentative deployment date is scheduled for Tuesday. Vietnam Vietnam indicated on Sunday that it would dispatch 80 rescuers for the ongoing search and recovery task. The Public Security Ministry indicated through a ministry newspaper that he would also send along a team of police and some medics. All were planned for deployment on Sunday. South Korea South Korea indicated they would shift $2 million for support assistance to meet urgent rescue and relieving reasons after the earthquake enabling purpose. New Zealand New Zealand indicated the provision of $2.0 million New Zealand (~$1.1 million) to the international Red Cross for emergency response would be done.
