Garuda Purana: The most unshakable truth of life is death. Every person born has a last time when he leaves this world. In Hinduism, it is believed that a person’s soul gets a place in heaven or hell on the basis of his deeds. Most people do good and bad deeds in their life journey. Many times, they unknowingly do some irreligious work. In such situations, they drown in anxiety whether they will go to hell because of these mistakes. When one’s death is near, there are some remedies that are mentioned in the Garuda Purana, through which the soul directly gets a place in Vaikuntha Dham.
Sacred water of the Ganga
If the recitation of Bhagavad Gita is recited to a person at the time of
death, then that person can easily give up his life and yamdoot cannot touch him. This means that person will get a place in heaven.
Tulsi
has special significance in Hinduism, it is very auspicious. By placing its leaf in the mouth of the person who dies at the time of death, his end is happy and his soul gets a place in heaven.
By taking the name of
Lord Shri Ram, all the sins of a human being are destroyed. If someone chants the name of Shri Ram at the time of death, then he gets freedom from the punishment of Yamraj. When one feels that one’s last time is coming, one should bathe with Ganga water, and keep the place around it fragrant.
