Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Sahu Garapati, the acclaimed Telugu producer behind the blockbuster hit Majili, is set to make his mark in a new industry. Under his production banner, Shine Screens, Garapati has officially announced his debut in Malayalam cinema with the upcoming film Vyasanametham Bandhumithradhikal.
This move marks a significant expansion for Garapati, whose production house is known for backing content-driven and commercially successful Telugu films. His most notable project, Majili, starred Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu and was celebrated for its emotional depth and powerful performances.
His first foray into Mollywood (the Malayalam film industry) will be a family drama directed by Jayan Nambiar. The film will feature popular Malayalam actor Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role, portraying an irresponsible young man navigating life and relationships.
By venturing into the Malayalam industry, which is renowned for its strong scripts and realistic storytelling, Garapati continues his focus on quality, story-oriented cinema. This collaboration is being seen as another exciting example of the growing synergy between different regional film industries in India.
