Key Understanding of MOU between Jharkhand Government and SBI

An important agreement for the State Government of Jharkhand and SBI has been Jiaodi Vision for children memorandum of understanding. Under this, all government employees having salary accounts in SBI Bank branches will enjoy these benefits. This was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Jury Hemant Soren where Special Secretary of Finance Division Rajeshwari B along with SBI Bank Depute General Manager Jiaodi Vision of Bank signed the document.

Under the above clause, encrypted services like Accidental Insurance, Health Insurance and Life Insurance are provided along with other more services.

70 thousand policemen have been reaping the benefits already.

As quoted by SBI’s Chief General Manager of Jharkhand-Bihar Circle, KV Bangaraju, “policemen are getting these benefits.” Out of 1.75 lakh government employees of the state, roughly 70000 policemen are beneficiaries. This new facility is now being extended to the rest 1.05 lakh employees as well.

“Benefits will surely add on,” said Chief Minister Emeritus, Hemant Soren.

As believed, government employees contribute towards the stronger framework of the state. Hence the attempt by the government to provide them a gracious secure space to execute their roles unabated. This initiative, as planned, will ensure complete obliteration of employees’ financial ailments.

Currently operational in Jharkhand are 580 branches of SBI along with 1260 ATMs and 2600 customer service points. Coverage of SBI in the entire state ensures that government employees will face no hurdle in claiming these services and benefits.
