Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The Indian government has dismissed allegations levelled against them claiming that Pakistan has destroyed an S-400 air defence system during a recent strike. On Saturday, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check team issued a statement concerning the claimed destruction and viral social media posts circulating it, labeling them as completely unfounded.

A post on PIB Fact Check official X account reads “S-400 Destroyed by Pakistan? Here’s the Truth! Posts circulating on social media allege that Pakistan has destroyed an Indian S-400 air defense system.” The department claimed that no S-400 system has suffered damage or has been destroyed.

Several concerned Pakistani media platforms and social media accounts wrote that a JF-17 fighter jet launched a hypersonic missile which successfully hit an S-400 system stationed in Adampur. These claims began to circulate widely.

Indian officials have, however, denied these claims in totality, branding them as unproven and untrue.
