During a Town Hall meeting in Wisconsin, Tesla CEO Elon Musk addressed the threats he's received since taking the role as head of DOGE. While speaking, Musk was interrupted by a protester. In response, he stated, “Say hi to George Soros for me. It was inevitable that at least a few Soros operatives would be in the audience. Give my regards to George."

The crowd reacted with chants of “USA, USA,” backing Musk during the disruption.

Musk disclosed that he's received thousands of death threats due to his position, saying, “My security team said it's actually gone down from 18,000 to 17,000.” He pointed to two failed assassination attempts on Donald Trump as examples of ongoing threats, calling the danger “real.”

He revealed that during his first cabinet meeting with former President Trump, he informed Trump of the threats related to his work. Musk again referred to the 2024 assassination attempt on Trump, commenting, “They almost succeeded.”

Criticism of Soros and Biden Recognition

Musk has openly criticized billionaire philanthropist George Soros. Sharing a news report on social media platform X, he accused Soros of “hatred of humanity” and suggested it includes hostility toward Israel. This was in response to reports that Soros donated $15 million to NGOs allegedly supporting Hamas.

Regarding President Joe Biden awarding Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Musk wrote, “A travesty that Biden is giving Soros the Medal of Freedom."
