China has brazenly issued a warning to America in the past. The Dragon stated that America declaring war whether through tariffs, trade, or in any other manner is an invitation to fight. Fentanyl, a type of narcotic, is how America has allegedly tried justifying the increase in tariffs on Chinese goods. Lin Jian, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, stated America wanting a tariff or trade war makes it very clear that China is also willing to put in the work and fight until the very end.
The words of Lin Jian indicate that, “America is responsible for America.”
Lin Jian made these remarks for the New York Times when asked what America’s response to implementing 20% tariffs as opposed to the previous 10% on Chinese goods would be. He was adamant in stating that the United States is at fault for their problems concerning fentanyl. Furthermore, he stated that China has tried to assist America in a way that exhibited humanitarian goodwill, but the response has been China is being set up for slander in addition to China being put under pressure. In his statement, he concluded the argument by discussing how America’s efforts are counterproductive which may hinder aid cooperation towards drug issues.
The United States and China might be negotiating their way around trade issues and illegal nhang matters for quite a long time. It would serve both countries best if they got told the crux of the matter directly. China has finally put their foot down. Zhang said that intimidation or intimidation do not appear to work on China. He claimed that pressure won’t solve the fentanyl crisis problem either. If the United States negotiates internationally with China, matter of factly, then the problem is half way done.
Tariffs raised China is reacting to America’s claim of raising tariffs by imposing new tariffs on chicken, corn, wheat, and cotton products. These tariffs are set as high as 15 percent. If this wasn’t enough, China also put forth a 10 percent tax for other forms of agricultural products such as sorghum and soybean, but also beef, pork, and fish.
What appears to be a big strategic move, the Chinese commerce department declared the set exclusion of fifteen America corporations from equipment supply orders. The denied equipment alleged to have dual civilian and military uses. With this, America drone company Skydio was also added to the list. Skydio is now not able to buy any Chinese equipment.
What are the experts’ views? “Experts say that China has applied its tariffs in a manner which inflicts the most harm to those sectors of the US economy which matter most to the Trump administration, which is very strategic. Such an approach may aid China in avoiding greater damages down the road, thus providing more room for them to be flexible in future negotiations.”
