Washington: America’s newly elected President Donald Trump has named 27-year-old Caroline Levitt as the White House Press Secretary. Levitt will replace the current White House Press Secretary Karine Pierre. Trump, who won a landslide victory in the recent elections, will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2025. Levitt was the National Press Secretary in Trump’s election campaign and before that, she served as Assistant Press Secretary in the Trump White House.

Caroline expressed her gratitude to Trump.

Trump endorsed Levitt, saying, “Caroline Levitt did a phenomenal job as National Press Secretary in my historic campaign and I am pleased to announce that she will serve as White House Press Secretary. Caroline is intelligent and determined and has proven to be a very effective speaker. I am confident she will help get our message across to the American people.” Levitt responded in a post on X: “Thank you for your trust in me, President Trump. I am honored. Let’s make America great again together.”

Trump made 2 more important appointments.

The White House press secretary usually serves as the public face of the administration and conducts daily briefings for the press corps. Apart from Levitt, Trump has nominated Steven Cheung as Assistant to the President and Communications Director and Sergio Gor as Assistant to the President and Director of the Presidential Personnel Office.
