Police will talk to 4 trainee doctors
CBI will question 4 PG students (trainee doctors) of RG Kar Medical College. These four trainee doctors were present with the victim that day before the incident. CBI wants to find out the sequence of events that night. In the initial investigation of CBI, the focus is on the statements of the people related to the incident. Before this, CBI has recorded the statements of about 15 people. CBI wants to know where the victim was before the incident, whom she met, and where did she go. So that the statements can be matched with the CCTV footage and the entire sequence of events can be recreated.

Former principal of RG Kar Hospital on CBI’s radar
CBI will question the former principal of RG Kar Hospital Sandip Ghosh. Sandip Ghosh was the principal of RG Kar Medical College at the time of the rape and murder of the doctor. Sandip Ghosh is also mentioned in the investigation of Kolkata Police. Sandip Ghosh has been accused of corruption many times in the past. CBI has so far recorded the statements of 15 people including the victim’s family. Sandip Ghosh will also be questioned based on the statements.
BJP leader’s allegation- Mamata did not take the right action
BJP MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat said, “This is a very sad incident. The case has been handed over to the CBI because the state government did not cooperate. Being a woman, she (Mamata Banerjee) should have taken immediate action on this incident, which she did not.”
Suvendu Adhikari wrote a letter to the Union Home Secretary
