There will be no driving test in government offices
. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has changed the rules related to driving license. According to the rules that will come into effect from June 1, it is no longer necessary to give a driving test in a government office. Now you can go to any private driving school and give a driving test. These schools will be authorized to take the test and give the certificate required for getting the license.

Less paperwork!
Now fewer documents will be required to obtain a driving license. You will only need to bring the papers according to the vehicle you want to learn to drive (two-wheeler or four-wheeler). This will reduce the need to visit the RTO office.

Focus on environment
The new rules of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways are aimed at reducing pollution. For this, the government is going to remove 9 lakh old government vehicles and strict rules will be implemented for the smoke coming out of the vehicles. A fine of between 1000 and 2000 rupees will be imposed for crossing the speed limit. If minors are caught driving, a fine of 25,000 rupees will be imposed and the registration of their vehicle will be canceled. Not only this, they will not be able to get a license till the age of 25.

Necessary rules for driving schools:
The driving school should have at least 1 acre of land. Apart from this, 2 acres of land is required for training four-wheelers. There should be proper arrangements for taking driving tests in the school. The person giving driving training (trainer) should have a 10th class certificate along with five years of driving experience. He should also know how to operate biometrics and IT systems.

The duration of learning to drive is

Whereas for big vehicles (HMV), the duration of training is 38 hours in 6 weeks, which includes 8 hours of theory and 31 hours of practical training. New rules have been made to ensure that new drivers learning to drive in private driving schools get good training and can drive safely on the road.
