Dividend will also be considered in this meeting. If something is finalized regarding the dividend in the meeting, then it will be announced on December 16.
Record date fixed for the fourth interim dividend of the current financial year
Vedanta informed the stock market exchanges that the company has fixed the record date for this fourth interim dividend to be given for the current financial year 2024-25. The company said that Tuesday, December 24 has been fixed as the record date for this fourth interim dividend. That is, if the company’s board announces dividend in the meeting to be held on December 16, then Vedanta shares will trade ex-dividend on December 24. Let us tell you that investors will not get the benefit of dividend on shares purchased on December 24. To get the benefit of dividend, investors will have to buy shares by December 23.
The company’s shares saw a great rise on Thursday
On Thursday, the shares of Vedanta Limited were trading at Rs 519.30 with a gain of Rs 5.20 (1.01%) at 09.56 am. The company’s shares, which closed at Rs 514.10 on Wednesday, opened today with a gain of Rs 519.95. During today’s trading, till the time of writing the news, Vedanta’s shares had reached an intraday low of Rs 516.05 and an intraday high of Rs 523.70.
