Following the match against Arsenal, the Chelsea FC midfielder topped the charts despite not scoring in his last seven goal matches. Palmer has always been a proactive goal contributor with 20 goals in the last 53 matches and defenders were welcoming assists as a common trend in the name of Palmer.

“I’m sure he’s not in the restroom,\" Maresca quipped before going into detail, \"Last week, he had a small sickness issue, and sadly, he did have a very minor problem with training yesterday.”
Maresca was quick to address fans, assuring them that this wouldn’t sideline the player for long.
“Since it was a very light session we believe it’s nothing major, which is why we think he’s going to get cleared to play after the international break. But we will have to wait for further confirmation.”

Mauresca confirmed that Palmer would most likely miss England’s matches against Albania and Latvia. The rationale is that Palmer sustained an injury that will prevent him playing in the World Cup qualifiers.
\"I know he’s scheduled, but because he’s injured and didn’t play today, I disagreed with inclusion for being available for England duty,\” said Maresca about Palmer participating for England.
